This wonderful picture makes me feel all fuzzy and makes me want to take a stroll on memory lane. It also sometimes reminds me of not letting time get over you, like even if you're old, don't be afriad to eat a lolipop or some cotton candy and put ribbons in your hair.
I honestly love how the lights of the ride looks and I just truly love your picture. Now, you got me thinking of all the things I use to do when I was younger, and my first carousel ride. Oh, good times. I miss those times, good old nice times. Well, good job on the picture. It's amazing, and unique.
Even thought this photo is seemingly taken from high up, like from behind a curtain, to me it seems like a kid who is looking out through a hole in the fence. Looking at a place where the grass seems greener, the suggestion of a better life. Its like the saying "so close yet so far", its like a dream - viewed from a distance and it only lasts until you wake up. I feel that this photo symbolises the dreams of a person, like a carnival, they bring happiness to people until they pack up and go, leaving behind an empty space of where it once was and everyone to go back to reality. This piece is really amazing. The combined effect of so many different aspects in this photo, is really what makes it stand out, and what gives it its unique feel.
Just thought you might like to know, I used this image to complete a writing exercise for a writing course. The finished short story is on my website, along with the image--with credit to you, of course. I have the credit linking to this page. If you would rather something else linked, a website of your own perhaps, please let me know. Also, if you want the image removed, please tell me. It's such a great image that I'd love to share it with the story but if you don't like that, then I don't have any issue with removing it from the story page. Just let me know.
This shot is magical. From one position it tells a complete story. The colours are like a dream, and the fact your looking through a gap at something to grand and bright gives a perspective that we are looking through the eyes of someone. It's just great . I adore photographs that tell such a story.
