Yet another picture out there of trees, mountains, and snow... but you caught it where there was color in the sky so the yellow through the grey of the mountain to the dark green of the trees makes a nice gradient to go along with all the white.
This is a fairly common composition, but most people would try to take this shot on a clear day with a blue sky and I like way this turned out.
It's a nice photo as can't do Critique i will post here. Altho very good i thing a darkening of the photo would bring out more detail and improve the look. The sky is a little to bright for the picture, don't know what can be done with that but maybe a multi shade filter?
I can't even express how amazing this is. Landscapes are so difficult but you have a real eye for capturing them. I love the composition and the fade of the mist, the tones are beautiful, and I love that the mountain on the right swoops down and leads off to the side. If that part weren't there and the mountains continued straight across the frame I don't think that this image would be as appealing. I also really like that the shape of the trees keeps the eye inside of the photo.
