Maybe because the windsock is so out of place it makes it just perfect. And it still is a big part of the scene because there's no wind so no movement like the trees and such. It's the only object with bright colours while everything else is a bit grey coloured. I just love it! :D

This would have been perfect for me if not for the windsock. It offsets attention from the subject and completely derails the atmosphere of the work. Placing my thumb over the windsock is the only way I can capture the solemn mood of this piece and give it praise. If not for the bit of color I would rate this a 10 out of 10. Sorry, just my honest opinion. (Please note that, to me, everything else is perfect and can appreciate the tone and essence of the picture itself.)
