senior subscription giveaway

Tue Dec 9, 2008, 7:01 AM
I cleaned my eyes a few times but its true: I'm now a senior member of deviantart. I ever thought the deviantart staff don't like me very much, because I'm not a very communicative member (as my nickname says). And I have started deviantphoto (still a very small project, which currently in a state of stagnation).

I'm a deviant since nearly eight years and I visit deviantart nearly every day (just a few days holiday without internet). The main reason for visiting this page every day is the great art. A short visit, checking the new deviations is the best way to relax on evening. And as photographer and web developer it is my main resources for inspiration and ideas. I can't tell you how strong deviantart influenced my personal understanding of art (visit the landscape feature in my personal blog and you will understand).

Okay I don't want to tell you stories. Instead I will share my happiness and give away two 3 month subscriptions. Just comment here why I just should give you this subscription!

Thank you all very much for this great support. And a special thanks to the deviantart staff for doing this great job to keep this site running and for honour me with this award!!!

You have a lot of journal entries for someone who isn't very communicative.

well...i've been getting kind-of fed up lately. i've been a member on this site since 2002 and have never really been recognized. i've made so many comments and kept my peace while doing so (besides a couple of cranky posts in the forum, but those whores can be real a-holes sometimes...anyway!...), but recently, its really started to bother me. i even think about it at work and away from home. i almost feel like i won't consider myself a "good" photographer until i get recognized in some way on deviantart. wether its features or the coveted DD. be that as it may, i guess this is my way of saying....HEY! I'M OVER HERE! lol i do love your photography and alot of other people's work on this site. i love all things, not just photography. digital art, hand crafts, abstract, drawings, sculpture. i've given my love to lots of people on here and i feel like i've got nothing in return. however, i love this site, and i love my photography. congrats on your senior membership. i hope to one day become something on this site also. keep up your good work and please keep submitting more. please, help a sister out!:love:

-Oh well, silence is needed to appreciate our life when we look coldly at it regardless the distance, sometimes.

I was about to forget; the subscriptions you're giving generously. The features that it offers are, of course, really pleasant, but mostly I think that having one can help you put the spotlight on friends more easily without to overdo news articles and bore people about it. I think that more people can enjoy art, can get their inspiration from your journal features (reminds of someone.. : P) and you can get to know your art better and always involve in whatever you're doing.

And that's what art is about, actually. Always changing. Always moving. Exploring. Everyone has their unique style and sense of doing it, but can you come out of the crowd? Can you impress, touch people by just showing them something. Not even speaking.

Because a true photgraph speaks for itself.

:highfive: Just wanted to stop by and Congratulate you on becoming a senior!

As for the subscription well, I guess I'm just going to pass on it. :XD: I don't have a subscription and one would be wonderful so I can see what deviant really is all about, journal features of artists with great talent would be nice and especially ones like myself who are new and actually talented would be awesome. However, I am very new to all of this and still trying to learn so I am sure there are others out there that deserve this a lot more than I do. So, I wish those people luck :D For anyone who reads this and is into photography and/or Photoshop and feels like sharing any tips/advice feel free to send me a note :lmao:

Honestly though, Congratulations again! :boogie:

First of all, congrats
2nd I would love if you'd give one of the subbies to my project :deviant-awareness: Eventhough we have a sub for the moment, it will run out in February and I cannot maintain the account without any sub.

I really have wanted a subscription, however that is not why I'm commenting. There are many other artists who deserve to have that I am however posting here, to say congratulations to someone I have watched for a good long time now, and I'm glad to see that he has achieved senior status. Congrats ssilence! Best wishes to you!
